This is a brand new radio production on this fine Bonneville station, and we appreciate

you tuning in. This is our first week. Tomorrow night we are going to have an after-party.

Arkelly sings it even better than I do. We're going to have an after-party tomorrow night

at Sunset lanes in Ballard. And like many things on this show, it's poorly planned.

We don't know how it's going to go, but we'll find out when we get there.

things. One of the things that we sort of set out to do on this show is have a really genuine

experience. We don't like to be pretend mad about things. Gen and I don't flip a coin before

the show and decide who's going to argue one side of a point and who's going to argue the other

side. We just want to talk about stuff that's important and interesting to us that involves our

real lives and involves our real families. And that's kind of where we're going with this next segment.

I grew up in Seattle and I'm the oldest of seven kids. And I have still, let's see, three siblings

who actually live at home with my parents. I have a sister who's there for probably not too much

longer because she's 18. I've got a little brother who's 14, a little brother who's 11.

And my little brothers, Sam and David, we're going to be coming over on New Year's Eve

to my house in Seattle. And my mom said to me, watch Sam, he's going to be kind of in a bad mood
