Janine gave me curls. But real quick, hold on, before I introduce her, I want to give you a

backstory. Since I was 11 years old in the 80s, breakdancing, I became obsessed

with hair and I think because I was the smallest kid I had to have cool hair and so I had

Algernet and I would try to make like a pompadour because I had the the Asian straight bowl cut for you know

That was like the hardest I know it's like the most opposite situation

My parents just, you know, give me no style. They put me in a

strawberry short cake t-shirt when I was really young. They didn't know that was

for girls. So I had this pompadour in the 80s with

you know disco and breakdancing with Aquilnet and then throughout the years I've

always you know had all these different hairstyles from you know bangs to long hair short

hair I shade my head once looked horrible and always been insecure about hair and always

playing with my hair always wishing I had different hair.

Enter Janine and she said, hey John, we're going to curl your hair and I said no.

I dated a hairdresser back in the day and I wanted wavy hair.

Of course we always want hair we don't have and I gave myself a perm or she gave me the perm,

it was horrible and I looked like a Lego man.
