I'm 11 years after Janet's death in December 1997,, Bedford investigator Bill Pond took over the

Janet Love murder investigation, picking up basically right where it had somewhat abruptly

left off. There were countless leads in investigative avenues that had not been properly pursued,

and Pond was up to the task. He was determined to solve the case

because he had a special interest in it. Pond knew Janet personally. He had worked as a DFW police
