I'm Faith Moore, and this season we're reading Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte.

Each episode, I'll read one chapter from the book,

pausing from time to time to give brief explanations so it's easier to follow along.

It's like an audiobook with built-in notes.

So brew a pot of tea, find a cozy chair,

and settle in. 38 of story time for grownups,

which means we are about to read chapter 38 of Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte with a few notes along the way. This is the last chapter.

My emotions are so mixed. I'm sad that the book is over, but I'm also so grateful for this experience.

Really, truly I am. I'm so grateful for all of you who have come along with me on this journey. And I've just been thinking about that a lot the last, you know, week or a couple weeks or so as we've come to

the end of the book. Just how amazing it is that you are all out there listening and I'm just

so thankful that you've come along for this ride. I'm going to say much

more about that. Many more thank yous and much more about sort of the experience of creating this

podcast in the summer sessions to come. But I did want to just say it here as well in this last

episode in case you're not planning to join us for the summer. I just wanted to say thank you.
