Coming to you live from downtown Los Angeles this week and with due apologies to those of you

stuck in the snow back in the Midwest, it has been a delightful, sunny, warm couple of days here.

More importantly, it's been a busy couple of days in the mobility front, starting with the Comotion LA event,, then onto the LA Auto Show, and last but not

least, the Automotive News Congress. Each of those had its own lens on the mobility

world. I saw the Prius debut at one, heard about the ongoing

shakeout in autonomous vehicles at another, and heard about hydrogen-powered long-haul

trucks at the third. Perhaps the one common phrase I heard at all three was software defined car.

And if you've been paying attention to your inbox, I bet that you have heard that phrase a lot lately too heard at all three events here in Los Angeles and I think that underscores what's happening across the automotive and transportation industries.
