Fox 35 Orlando reports that a nine-year-old boy from O'Calif has been charged with first-degree

attempted murder after allegedly stabbing his five-year-old sister multiple times.

At approximately 4.20 p.m. on Monday, January 27th, O'Calif police officers responded

to a 911 call about a stabbing inside a unit in the Berkeley Point apartment complex.

At the scene, they found the five-year-old victim suffering from multiple stab wounds

yet conscious, alert, and able to communicate.

She was airlifted to a hospital, but there's no word on her current condition.

According to the arrest report, the children's mother told officers that the boy and his sister

had been playing in his room and she left the house for a few minutes to get the mail.

When she returned, she found her nine-year-old son stabbing her five-year-old daughter repeatedly
