0:39.1	Well, I'm happy to be here with you. Talk to us a little bit about how and why you became
0:44.5	interested in etiquette. It's an interesting career path, I have to say, and I didn't start out
0:52.2	in my life thinking I would ever become an etiquette expert.
0:55.9	I don't think anybody ever thinks they'll become an etiquette expert.
1:00.3	I actually went to school to become a broadcast journalist, but I happened to fall into the
1:07.7	hospitality industry and I worked for hotels for many years. Well, fast forward to
1:12.8	the last hotel I worked for, which was the Breakers in Palm Beach. And the Breakers was famous
1:19.7	for their etiquette camp for kids. And I was the assistant director of public relations. And it was my
1:27.3	responsibility to promote this camp
1:30.9	and to find the instructor. And I did find a fabulous instructor in Washington, D.C. and I asked
1:38.5	her to come and teach the kids, and she did. And she said, why don't we expand this camp and open it up for adults?
1:46.6	Why don't we have an etiquette camp for adults?
1:49.3	And of course, I said, that's a great idea.
1:51.6	I'll help you promote it.
1:53.1	And I took the class.
1:55.5	I felt like I could use these skills in my everyday life.
2:00.7	And I was glad to take the class because it led to my interest in etiquette and protocol.
