We have this breaking news on this federal coup case

against Donald Trump, which he is still slated to go on trial for.

This is a newly unsealed 165 page filing. This is from

DOJ Special Counsel Jack Smith. And the reason it's a big deal, we knew there was a trial coming,

that's slated for after the election, we knew that Smith had already narrowed aspects of this case in response to that Supreme Court ruling on immunity, but what we didn't know until right now, and I'm going to go through it with you is the new evidence we're

getting against defendant Trump. Now there are still some redactions within this

for various reasons but there is new information in the filing. At the kind of

top end of valuable information that we knew existed but did not have

until today are those secret private conversations that occurred between

then President Trump and then Vice President Mike Pence.

So we have new evidence about their secret meetings,

all of which were basically at the behest of Donald Trump

and some of which we knew but are learning more details

about the illicit intention there.

Now, this is a Christmas Day conversation I'm going to show you between Trump and Pence.

when Pence called Trump to wish him a Merry Christmas,

Trump raised the certification telling Pence he had discretion in his role
