And what is to be done with people taking the risk of the Mediterranean in inadequate boats without good safety mechanisms

in trying to reach Italy, which is the first stop if you leave North Africa, Tunisia or Libya, Italy.

because Italy right now has a program where they intercept

NGO boats that are searching the Mediterranean

to rescue people or to intercept them as they traverse and then sometimes take them to Italy, which is

unwanted migrants coming to a European state that is burdened by this. However, there is a remedy and the

Georgia Maloney's government has proposed it involves Albania but now I

learned from Lorenzo it also may involve France and Germany.
