0:00.0	Hello, Synophiles and Happy Holidays. It is Christmas Day 2020 and we are releasing all four of our Christmas episodes from years past and our very first one we had only been doing the show for a few months and it was it's a wonderful life which is still my favorite holiday film
0:18.3	It's one of my favorite films of all time agreed my number one as well Steve always wanted to go back to not only is it a great Christmas
0:24.9	Classic, it's a great classic film period and it's one of those ones that you can get so much out of
0:30.5	and tackles the joy of Christmas and also the struggles people have with
0:34.7	Christmas around this time and now it's important to remember that your life is very
0:39.7	important your life does touch so many people that you might not be aware of or you might not know that you do.
0:46.0	And the film reminds you of that how the sense of community is important and it's always there.
0:51.0	You just need to reach out for it it and I love that about this movie.
0:54.1	Well and what's so interesting I think you know people there's the idea of Capricorn and that it's you know
0:59.3	because they I think what people take away is they take away the themes and the ending and they don't pay attention to the fact that this movie is really dark.
1:07.6	Yes it is. It goes to some dark difficult places and it really shows how this good person, you know, George Bailey

1:21.2	And I just, it has such, from the very beginning from him as a kid telling
1:26.9	Mr Gower that he put poison in this pill on the day that Mr Gower found out that his son died and he gets beaten by him and yet still stands up,
1:34.8	the heroism of that moment through every single choice he makes through the whole movie of
1:40.8	sacrifice and doing what is right. It just really moves me.
1:44.4	Yeah, absolutely. And you see it throughout the home. It's a great performances from Jimmy
1:48.4	Stewart and is a Lano Baron Moore and Donna read and everybody involved with this film does such a great job
1:56.4	and the two different worlds that they create you know they're Bedford Falls and
2:01.4	Pottersville and how they're able to function within those worlds
2:05.6	and believably play.
2:07.4	Different alternate versions of their characters in those worlds.
