Summary
For all of you listeners on the road,or stationed overseas this holiday season, this is the Lux Radio Theater presentation of A WONDERFUL LIFE, featuring the original cast led by Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed.
This is an excellent audio version.
The story involves a small town man with big dreams who is forced to put them aside due to one catastrophe after another, and he finds himself jumping into an icy river. An angel named Clarence is assigned to save him, and Clarence decides to show the man (George Baxter) just how the town would have turned out without him around. The real message: everyone can make a difference in this world. Also that no matter how tough life is, there is a community of better angels (friends in need) who want to help.
