Hi moms, this is Heidi St. John. Today I want to talk to you a little bit about God's

place in your family, and what role God should have in your family. If you've got your

Bible, go ahead and open it to a familiar passage. Many of you are already familiar with

this. It's in the in the Old Testament in the book of Deuteronomy chapter 6 verses 5 through

7. That's Deuteronomy 6 verses 5 through 7. This is what it says, and you must love the

Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your strength, and you must commit

yourselves wholeheartedly to these commands I am giving you today. Repeat them again and

again to your children. Talk about them when you're home and when you are away on a journey,

when you are lying down, and when you are getting up again. I wonder, do we as families

are we talking about the Lord very often? I mean, because really, the answer is obvious,

right? If I were to ask you, should we be talking about the Lord, you would say, well,

of course, we should be talking about the Lord, but practically, it's not as easy as

it sounds, is it? Practically, it's easier for us to put the Lord at the end of our day,
