Have you ever had trouble communicating correctly with your husband? Have you ever been misunderstood?

Have you ever noticed that it's easier to hear than it is to actually listen? Hi, I'm

Heidi St. John, and today I want to talk to you about the difference between listening

and hearing. You know that? They're not the same thing. There's several verses in the

Bible that talk about the importance of listening, and you're not going to hear anything about

hearing. So let me read just a few verses to you. James 119 says, no this, my beloved brothers,

let every person be quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry. In Proverbs

1927 we read, cease to hear instruction, my son, and you will stray from the words of knowledge.

In Proverbs 5 verses 1 to 23 says, my son, be attentive to my wisdom, incline your ear to

my understanding that you might keep discretion and your lips might guard knowledge. Wow,
