back from the Holy Land at the end of twenty three uh... congressmen a very good evening to your most recent trip you're on the

intelligence committee now

but i speak to the question about the the people Israel, their morale during this contest.

How would you characterize it in your most recent visit?

I think anyone who's been there recently you can feel a huge difference between pre-October 7th and

post-October 7th and just and frankly every aspect of society there and with good reason right I mean it is after

you know the savagery of October 7th and the fact that you still have 130

hostages including by the way six Americans and 40 Americans killed you you

understand why and with the world increasingly you know filling it as

I think most Israelis do that the world's not with them largely I mean thankfully

the United States America has stood strongly by as we should and some

of our other key allies.

But the bottom line is if you turn on Al Jazeera or look on Tik-Tok, you can't believe the

world's with you if you're in Israel and with anti-Semitism

surging everywhere as well. It is it's a tough time.

You were there and I had the privilege of running into you at the Prime Minister's

office so you got very high-level briefings. Do you see where US-Israel relations are

headed right now? Is there a real common understanding both for the immediate

conflict and the regional challenges and what you said
