Joe, they keep getting larger and larger discoveries they didn't know.

Are we to understand that all those years we said they are building is they have

have tunnels for their offensive operation. I remember the tunnels of the 2014 Gaza War, the attack tunnels.

Did the IDF not know about what we're discovering now, which was there was a city underground

manufacturing rockets and creating conditions that are still difficult

to challenge.

Hi, John, thanks for having me.

So I think the IDDF had an idea all right of what what was going on underneath some of these cities in Gaza and but a ground the ground operation has been ongoing now for for weeks

now and actually months now they're seeing exactly what Hamas has built underground, right?

So for instance, this tunnel network that you're talking about, this one was

pretty extensive. It even had rooms for hostages. They were literally

prison cells, right? And this was and they were able to, the IDF was able to get DNA from these cells to find out that there were

hostages that were in there at one point. So these tunnels are definitely being used,

not only for sometimes offensive operations,

but also to hold hostages.
