Israel agreed to a 10-day ceasefire with Lebanon.

Let's get you caught up with today's seven stories.

Number one. A temporary ceasefire began in Lebanon after Israel agreed to a U.S.-backed deal. When a two-week ceasefire between the U.S.

and Iran started earlier this month, Israel argued the truce did not apply to Lebanon. The U.N.

estimates that Israeli ground operations and airstrikes have displaced more than a million Lebanese people

from their homes. Yesterday,

President Donald Trump announced that Israel had agreed to stop strikes on Lebanon for 10 days.

The agreement was between Israel and the Lebanese government, not Hezbollah, the armed group

that has been exchanging fire with Israel. It's unclear if Hezbollah will recognize the ceasefire.

But the deal was part of a wider push to end the war in Iran.

The clock is running out on the U.S. Iran truce, which expires Tuesday.

Trump told reporters yesterday, though, that Iran had agreed to a key concession.

Very important is that Iran does not have a nuclear weapon, and they've agreed to that.

Iran's agreed to that, and they've agreed to it very powerfully.

They've agreed to give us back the nuclear dust.

It's way underground because of the attack we made with the B2 bombers.

Nuclear dust is what Trump calls the highly enriched uranium that the International Atomic Energy Agency has said is buried deep underneath the ground following U.S. strikes in June on three key nuclear facilities.

Iran has not confirmed Trump's claim.
