When I think about what we've been through the past year and a half with the pandemic and so many have been been listening to me and we've been pretty close

during this pandemic and i've been sharing views and i've been doing forecasting and those who

listen to this podcast know that i was the first one in america to say restaurants were going to go to

50 percent capacity i was the first person in america to go on national news services and say

restaurants kitchens are going to look more like operating rooms and people are going to be wearing face masks. And I remember when,

when Laura Ingram on Fox News looked at me and said, I was crazy for saying that, right? That

would never happen, John, never happened. Well, who's crazy now? But, you know, I've been in a forefront

and being involved in a restaurant industry during this pandemic, I've seen the suffering firsthand that the industry has gone through.

But, you know, the first year of this pandemic, all I talked about was the industry, the industry, the industry, the industry.

I talked about how the industry was struggled, but I never really understood how people were impacted until

I started season eight of Bar Rescue.
