Good morning everyone and welcome back to another morning with the masters where we

devote ourselves to the Lord daily with you.

Good morning you guys.

We are picking up with a new devotional in the Bible app called in large which is all

about the prayer of Jbez.

So we are very excited about it.

There's a link to it in the description of the podcast if you guys want to follow along

with us and as always I'm going to read the scripture and then Tori is going to pick

up with the Divo.

Let's do it.

The scripture is 1 Chronicles chapter 4 verse 9 and it says this.

There was a man named Jbez who was more honorable than any of his brothers.

His mother named him Jbez because his birth had been so painful.

The devotional is titled enlarge my heart before you enlarge my territory.

And it says God heals your heart before he enlarges your territory.

Verse Chronicles chapter 4 starts with outlining the generational lineage of Judah whose name

means praise.

Chapter 4 continues to list out the generational seed of Judah until the story suddenly shifts

at verse 9.

The Bible pauses at this particular verse to highlight one of Judah's descendants

named Jbez whose name means sorrow.

Isn't it interesting how the Bible suddenly stops at verse 9 with the story of sorrow?
