Good morning everyone and welcome back to another morning with the masters where you devote

ourselves to the Lord, they lead with you. Good morning you guys. We are picking up with day two

of our enlarged devotional in the Bible app, which is all about the story and prayer of Jbez.

and as always I'm going to read the scripture and in Tori's going to pick up with the divo.

Let's do it. The scripture is Proverbs chapter 10 verse 22 and it says this,

the blessing of the Lord makes a person rich and he adds no sorrow with it.

The devotional is titled Bless Me Indeed and it starts with 1 Chronicles 4 10 that says,

he was the one who prayed to the God of Israel, O that you would bless me and expand my territory.

Please be with me in all that I do and keep me from all trouble and pain and God granted him his

request. Jbez called upon God regarding his future. Jbez broke beyond the normalcy of his

generation and stretched his request beyond the limitations of his current circumstance

and trusted God. Jbez chose to seek God. He decided to connect with the only one who could

remove the stigma of sorrow and to bless him indeed. Jbez was the highlight of his generation.

The Bible expands upon the life of Jbez in 1 Chronicles 4 9 in order to demonstrate how

with God we can break through generational cycles, tear down walls, leap over barriers,

break through generational ceilings and step beyond the cycles of the past.

Can we get a amen for that? Amen. Jbez honored God and asked him, oh,

thou st wildest bless me indeed. Jbez broke beyond the stigma of sorrow and limitation and

asked God to bless him indeed. Jbez asked God to bless him above and beyond his current point of

reference, beyond what his past generation saw or even imagined. When God blesses you,

you have no choice but to expand. Jbez chose God over the opinion of past generations.
