I've just turned on to sunset boulevard, here in the heart of Hollywood, not that far

from Vanity Fair's LA offices.

This is really the birthplace of the modern entertainment industry.

And it's seen a lot of change, a lot of up and down over the last century.

The most recent revitalization of Hollywood came a few years ago, kind of at the peak of

Netflix's ascendance as a streaming behemoth.

They built these shiny, new office towers right here in Hollywood and now it's where the

majority of their entertainment-focused executives work.

As I drive along, it's hard not to think about how things are changing again here in Hollywood.

The streaming boom that has ruled the last decade or so is sort of coming to an end and

there's a lot of anxiety and fear about what is next for the people who make their livelihoods

in Hollywood.

That's something we're going to talk a lot about today.
