Hello, Emily, you have an interview today for us.

We have a, honestly, a real talker.

We have a registered nutritionist, her name is Kim Shapira, she's someone I've known

for a couple of years and she's absolutely wonderful and I got to talk to her for a story

that I wrote for our current issue of the magazine about a drug called Ozempek.

Have you heard of it?

Never heard of it.

Okay, well that's because you don't live in Hollywood and you're not in New York City

and present and you're maybe not hearing the same kind of gossip, celebrity-driven gossip

that I am hearing but I will tell you here in LA and definitely in New York and some circles

around the globe.

They were it on everybody's lips, if you have not heard about it, Ozempek is a drug that

is prescribed for type 2 diabetes and there are other drugs that are like it and there's

one called Wigovie, there's one called Manjara, I believe it's called and they are prescribed

for people who need their blood sugar levels regulated.

People have discovered that a side effect of taking these injections which are weekly injections

is weight loss and as you can imagine that is a popular side effect and so doctors in

major cities and not in major cities have started prescribing these injections for people

who are not in fact diabetic or prediabetic but people who just want to lose weight and

to great effect and this is something that lots of celebrities are doing, this is something
