Welcome back to the Dirt Show, some interesting developments today in Ukraine.

We don't know whether they're significant or just show, but they potentially could be

very significant.

Let's do the best case analysis and then the worst case analysis.

The best case analysis is that Russia has realized that it can't really take a key of

and it's pulled back its troops and it's repositioned them in the east primarily to try

to maintain control of the so-called breakaway provinces and Crimea, which it has control

over already.

And is basically the first step toward a significant retreat, if not a retreat, at least

a state as quo.

They're still bombing.

They're still rocket attacks.

They're still deaths.

They're still war crimes, I think, being committed.

But the potential is that maybe Russia has been persuaded that it can't do any better

and it's going to try to find some excuse or justification.

Oh, all we wanted to do was secure the people in the east who really want to be under

Russian control and are being subjected to Nazi.

This and that and the other thing, sure, if Putin wants a victory and if it helps the

people that Ukraine let them have it, we'll get in a minute to obviously regime change

and Biden's statement.

But that's the best case scenario.
