We're kind of still talking about the things that we now know coming out of the spring,

but we're going to widen the scope a little bit. We just got done to talk about the individual position groups and the questions that we had about the offensive line, wide receiver, the secondary. A lot of those have been answered. But overarching big picture, and I hate to rehash this again. but we had a question going into spring of how Notre Dame would handle the playoff snub.

And again, in press conferences a question going into spring of how Notre Dame

would handle the playoff snub. And again, in press conferences and interviews, you hear about,

you know, taking care of business and leaving no doubt and revenge tour and all of these things.

But we didn't know what that was going to look like leading into the season.

And through the practices that we've gotten to see and through the

interviews that we've gotten to listen to, we're getting a lot more clarity on what that

actually means for this program.

And we didn't know, was it going to be used as fuel?

Would it be used properly?

None of that was a guarantee,

but after hearing some things and seeing some things ourselves, I think it's safe to say that

this team is using this in the proper way to motivate them moving forward. I mean,

it was a question, and there's a comment that chat says, the only way we'll truly know

this is in the fall. And I mean, look, the ultimate answer, sure.

But I think that it would be misguided to assume that there aren't things we can learn right now about, about where this team is.

And, you know, when you read the articles that we're talking about, and, you know, the first thing I saw is Leonard Moore Re revenge tour. And I'm like, oh, God, you know, what's this going to be? Then you read the article and you're like, actually says, okay, so it's good. You know, because you've got, you know, the article talks off, starts off with, you know, Leonard Moore. And this is from Heather Dinnich at ESPN. I'll put the article in the chat for people that want to read it.

But she says, she writes, you know, we're on a revenge tour now, Moore said, we've got to get back.

We've got to make it right from last year.

And then there's a comment from CJ Carr talking about the Miami game and all these kind of things. And you're like, okay, I'm actually kind of getting a little bit concerned. Like, what are they thinking about? Then she has this quote from Marcus Freeman, which I thought was beautiful. He says, we spend too much time daydreaming about Miami. We're going to lose Wisconsin. You've got to focus on the task at hand. There's no, that's no different than saying, can we get back to the national championship? If we want to focus on the national championship, we're going to lose the opportunity we have right here. It's my job to make sure I'm directing the focus where it needs to be. That's an everyday message and everyday reminder to struggle. Struggle has to be hard mentally and physically in a sacrifice putting their in front of yourself so like those are all good things but then it's like okay that sounds good but like what are we
