Ladies and gentlemen, welcome back to another episode of the Irish Breakdown podcast, brought

one day closer to the blue gold game that happens here at the end of this month. Brian,

still a lot of Notre Dame football to talk about. And that's what kind of leads us into today's

discussion. About a month ago, a little bit less, before Notre Dame kicked off spring training, we had a show and we talked about some of the questions about this program that we didn't really know yet going into the spring.

And that's what we're going to really recap in part one of today's show.

Now, some of these questions have answers and then others for obvious reasons like we're going to dive into.

They don't necessarily have answers yet. And then part two of today's show, we're kind of broadening the scope a little bit, and we're talking about something a little bit more big picture in that we had a lot of questions on how Notre Dame was going to respond to that playoff snub back in December. There's been some things that we've seen and a lot of

things that we've heard to let us know that this team is responding in the correct way. So we're

going to dive into that in the second part of today's show. And to wrap everything up, this is a big recruiting weekend for the Irish. And there's going to be some players that they're going to have to close on and get in a good spot with this weekend, man. I'm looking forward to it. Yeah, it's going to be a fun show, Trev. Very exciting topics.

Just as we're talking through kind of what we want to talk about today, there's,

it can be a challenge putting these shows together because you're like,

I really want to talk about this topic, but it's like, we should probably wait

until after the spring to have this discussion or this is probably more of a summer topic or,

man, you know, love this conversation but you know

just as far as the timing of it and kind of thinking through today was was kind of easier it's like

we'll look we're at the midway point of spring let's look back and kind of look at some of the

questions that we had offer a bit of a midterm report card i I kind at the end of the first segment,

I'll give sort of my,

you know, not like ABC,

but sort of like where things stand.

Like how am I feeling about the progression being made by this group
