Welcome to the second part of my conversation with April Snowcast. She was born into Scientology in

1982 and was in the Sea Organization, the name for Scientology's clergy, well, briefly as a

teenager, at which time her parents gave up custody of her to the church. During that time of her life, she started seeing red flags within the organization,

but it wasn't until her mid-20s that she finally stepped away for good.

And only recently in 2017 was she officially declared Scientology's version of excommunication, in which friends and family tend to shun and

completely cut contact with the individual. So although she's never been shown the documentation

of her, quote unquote, declare, one of her, quote unquote, crimes, no doubt, is providing a

space for others questioning Scientology
