0:47.6	talking to people who have differing views than I have. And both of the guests on today's program, I consider Warren as a co-host here,
0:56.7	because we've known each other for years and have done several broadcast together. And so we have a
1:03.0	guest with us, David Burkott, who is prolific in writing and has done a huge amount of study on historic Christianity and has a viewpoint and vantage point that I'm not real familiar with.
1:17.6	Some of the things I saw when I searched him up and listened to some of his things challenged me and I don't necessarily agree with every single thing he says, but it doesn't scare me because I can tell that he has a spirit in the heart of Christ.
1:31.3	I can tell he's humble and teachable and one of those guys that I would like to learn from.
1:38.3	And so let me remind you as we jump into this discussion.
1:42.3	I know some of you are going to disagree with some of the
1:44.7	things that David may believe and may teach, but are you willing to learn and say, I understand before
1:52.2	you say, I disagree? And we also understand, and I want to give this caveat up front before I
1:57.9	introduce David and allow him to introduce himself and tell us a little bit more about his work.
2:03.6	We look back at the history of the Christian faith.
2:07.0	We're not trying to claim that church, you know, his church scholars and what are many referred to as early church fathers are somehow inerrant or are inspired by God and perfect in every way.
2:21.9	And therefore, if they teach a particular doctrine, therefore, we must believe it because it's true.
