So thankful that our producer Rebecca is allowing us to give these updates on what's going on with her and her tongue cancer.

Because I think like I said last time when you know somebody that got over cancer usually you know

two things about them that they got cancer and then they got over the cancer or they didn't get over the cancer but what you don't

see on a day-to-day for any patient that is going through this I mean you can

assume it but the actual struggle and it's not just physical it is

mental also there are a lot of wins along the way there are a lot of losses along the

way it takes a whole team of people and family to keep momentum on a fight

like this literally the fight for your life and I don't know that many people get to

see that you see the end result when your friend comes home and they're ringing the

bell you see that online all the time yeah we're in remission but man there are it's a

long windy road and that's the road that our social media producer Rebecca is on right now.

So she did give us permission to share this update with you guys.

Because we told you last week she was getting her scans and to send good vibes and

good mojo and then she's gonna have to wait a couple of days to get the

results of those scans which probably felt like an eternity but she did get

the results and there was something highly suspicious about a lymph node.

This is not to say that this is cancer, they don't know what this is, they just know that

it's suspicious.

So it's less than a centimeter big.

So instead of doing a biopsy to see if it is cancer,

they're just gonna go ahead and remove the lymph node.
