This is Irish Illustrated Insider. It's August 6th, and we have a whole bunch of big news.

I'm Tim Priester with Tim O'Malley from Irish Illustrated. Pete Samson joins us from the athletic.

The ACC put out the schedules this morning, and we'll run it down real quickly.

Notre Dame opens with Duke in Western Michigan at home.

They visit Wake Forest.

They have a three-game stretch.

It'll be challenging.

Florida stayed at home following a buy.

There's a buy after the third game.

Florida State at home, Louisville at home at Pitt,

so you're going to face some good defenses.

And then down the stretch, when you have four of five games on the road, it's at Pitt at Georgia Tech. Clemson stays on November 7th at Boston College with an eligible Phil

Djokovic at North Carolina on Black Friday. And at Syracuse, or I'm sorry, home against Syracuse,

I'd say, guys, from my perspective, and I think it's probably yours too, all things considered

a pretty favorable schedule for Notre Dame.

That is more than pretty favorable, I think.

It's as good as Notre Dame could have asked for.

You know, you get, I thought the Clemson game was going to move for sure.

I thought the ACC would figure out, all right, how do we make sure Clemson's undefeated?

Let's move that game up in the schedule.

Let's make sure Clemson still is a bye week.

Nope, they kept it on November 7th.
