The news of the day is not COVID-19 for once,

and hopefully that will stay out of the news for a little bit

as we look at Notre Dame's

new schedule. They are a member of the ACC in 2020. Never thought I would say that. I admit I was

wrong about that, but the ACC announced an 11-game schedule, 10-game conference schedule.

Notre Dame is included in it. They will be part of the entire

process, which means they can play in the ACC championship. So a lot of exciting stuff to look

forward to as long as we can keep all of college football healthy enough to play these games.

So Tim, Nordame, ACC, ACC deal. You and I were of the same mindset, I believe. I mean, our first reacts, and I know my

first reaction when people were asking about whether or not only would play for an ACC championship,

I thought there was no way, but I think it speaks to the strength of the Notre Dame ACC

relationship with this, which is something that I talked about in the beginning when people

said, you know, I hope that they'll be able to work out some games with

ACC. They're a business partner. They can work out games, but I never thought it

would go to this extent. Yeah, I thought three games with the ACC, if not four, was a

guarantee. And the other guarantee would be they wouldn't have a chance to play for the

conference championship. So one of the most important one follows the games.

That's all you could ask for as a Notre Dame fan on the field this year.

They got it.
