I'm Tim O'Malley, joined today by John Bryce of Football Scoop, Tim Priest of Irish Illustrated, and Pete Samson, The Athletic.

Guys, Notre Dame started at 0-1, just like everyone predicted. And since the four of us have obviously

instantly analyzed, we've over-tim analyzed, we've overtimed,

we've independently podcasted. I want to begin this question for Pete. Does it buy week come at a

good time, Pete? Oh, yeah. I'm exhausted. So by week comes at a great time. You're asking about me,

right? My personal preference specifically. Yeah, I mean, like I get it that in you know, in CJ Car references like getting back to work right away.

I think that they have enough stuff to work on that they could use a little extra time.

And, you know, your minus one day anyway.

I mean, would you really want to play Texas A&M on Saturday?

No.

No, you wouldn't.

Like, so I think the bi-week, ironically, comes at a good time in week two.

My question for Preister and J.B.

Before we get started, is does it seem like this game ended 36 hours ago only?

A lot has happened in our lives.

I actually walked in the door at 11 p.m. last night, so I'm not sure what day of the week it is, but it is a

good time for a by week for all of us. Yes. You know, I said, Tim, I said real quickly,

after I rewatch the game, I look at one of three ways. Either it's the same as what I saw in person.

It's better than, it's worse than what I saw in person or better than what I saw in person. And then I'll just throw it back to you. I thought it was better than what I saw in person. I understand all the blemishes and the problems along both lines and what happened. But, you know, the Miami coaching staff is tortured if that game goes into overtime and they lose because they so conservatively approached offense after the turnover with three runs.

Now I realize most of those three runs were netting first downs earlier in the game, but they were conservative after that.

It's conservative on the game winning drive.
