And not a lot of breaking news, although that usually comes right after the podcast is complete.

But we had an

opportunity this week to visit with some former Nordame players that were in town to speak with

the Nordame.

The current Notre Dame team, it coincided with the fantasy football camp they had going on.

Nordame, we can talk satellite camps, which Notre Dame has chosen

not to do and have been beneficial for Michigan. And Michigan State recruiting is putting

a hammer down on Notre Dame recruiting here this week, Pete. Yeah, I mean, you had the

stadium event with the fantasy camp, and it was, you know, it's always interesting to talk to some of these former players to see how they've, you know, matured or grown.

You know, John Carlson looks to me almost like the same as when he left.

And I got to spend some time with Manta Tateo.

You did as well.

And it's, it's fun to sort of get them in a comfortable environment, you know, away from a

podium or a post game or something like that.

And Manta's personality is, I've only, I've had a few instances where I've just been able to

talk to him one on one off to the side.

And I mean, you get why he's so engaging and people just sort of gravitate to him. And, you know, obviously a lot of the fantasy campers and their kids wanted, you know, autographs and photos. And a lot of, like, Notre Dame's current players wanted to just be around him. Max Redfield was, you know, made sure that, you know, he had the right number and they were kind of joking around. I mean, they never played together. They didn't overlap here. You know, Matthias Farley was, who did play with him, you know, just having a punning contest at midfield. And it was cool just to sort of interact with him. You sort of get why, how, you get a reminder of how original and one of a kind he is when, you know, this is a fantasy camp and, you know, Tim Brown and Julius Jones are recruited to come back.

I mean, Mantai was here for a funeral for one of us professors and, you know, Robert Sedlock, who made a great impact on him.

And it was just, you don't, you don't get that from a lot of, you don't get that almost from anybody. And, you know, it just was a reminder how unique he is. Yeah, if that isn't genuine, he's putting up on Helvin Act because, because, I mean, as he talks about Notre Dame and I think that he talked to different groups and still comes back to the whole notion of being in

Nordaam. And it's interesting because I had a conversation with Tim Brown and he talked about,
