Oil prices fall on Donald Trump's Iran deal comment.

Subhead drop came as the U.S. President says, quote, serious negotiations, end quote,

are underway with Tehran. I listened carefully to the report, and I was pleased to hear the word

dismantle. Dismantle. I repeat that again. Dismantle. That was in the report. At this point,

getting Iran to dismantle its nuclear weapons program seems a bridge too far.

How do you measure the president's remarks, Malcolm?

Well, I think it's very significant.

Everybody's going to weigh every word that he says.

I'm not sure that he does.

But I think he was sending some clear message.

He was looking to build up to this.

The United States added more sanctions, particularly targeting Chinese importers of the Iranian oil and sanctioning anybody who buys the oil, not just Iran for exporting, but anybody who bought it.

And, you know, they've been turning

off their transponders so they can't be traced. But now we have technologies, I think, that can

trace it. So, you know, there was a couple of the commentators and the analysts, you know,

talk to the mixed signals that we're sending. I think the signals were clear. Now the president

sees an option, a potential option. He think the signals were clear. Now the president
