Major American Jewish Organizations, Iran, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the protests

for weeks, but all parts of the country, especially the ethnic regions, we welcome international

media executive Sharia Rahi to help us understand where Iran is now, where the regime is now

in its brutality and its cruelty and its non-transparency and its suspect nuclear weapons program. And

where is where the protests are going in 2023? What might change? Sharia are a very good

evening to you. First, the protesters, the violence is routine now by the regime, but to

my reading from the outside, it is not changing the passion of the protesters. Is that accurate?

Good evening to you. Good evening, John. Great to be here. That's accurate. You have a new

generation. It wants a different life, fundamentally different from the ideological, totalitarian,

whatever you want to call it. It's the Islamic Republic that you have. And they're brave.

They're not as disappointed in their own conduct in the past as their elders. And you have

a situation right now where neither they can prevail under regime immediately right now,

nor can the regime snuff them out. But one thing is clear, they're going to grow in strength

and numbers, whereas the regime's hold on power is diminishing.
