Day 7 of the ceasefire between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the state of Israel, brokered, we understand, by President Trump and the United States apparatus watching over the Middle East, including military and diplomatic assets.

What is to be done is to assess the seven days and what we've learned.

Bill Rajo, Senior Fellow Foundation for Defense of Democracy, is here as my colleague and co-host,

and we're privileged to begin the conversation with Akbar Sharari of the Foundation for

Defense of Democracy, who watches Syria for us, but all of the surrogates for the Islamic

Republic and the Islamic Republic itself since the B-2 raid, we're told, set back

the suspect nuclear weapons program.

Day seven in Tehran, what does it look like?

Are people back to going to schools, shopping, and the money

works, or are there lingering doubts about what happens next? Good evening to you. Good evening,

John. So the first thing is we saw the funerals of those who were killed by Israel's airstrikes,

the IRC commanders and the Iranian army commanders that were killed on the first night and the following days.

We saw a funeral on Friday, if I remember correctly, the Ayatollah, the Supreme Leader, was not attending these funerals.

So we're seeing a return in terms of normal life in Tehran.

There's no kinetic action, military action, but we've seen reports that there's been multiple

assassinations, explosions, and a few drone attacks

or suspected drone attacks because air defense systems in Iran were working.

And that could be possibly due to the return of the shadow war between Iran and Israel,

which is the phase that preceded 2020, which
