I'm John Batser with my good colleagues, Ahmad Sharrari and Bill Rajo. We turn to the surrogates of the Iranian

revolution. We begin with Hamas because I believe there are 50 unaccounted for hostages, more than half.

Well, I've lost count of them how many dead and how many alive. In any

event, there does not seem to be any significant negotiation that's going to bring them back to

Israel. And the war is said to continue their countervailing reports all the time about feeding the Gaza population, about gunfights,

about executions by Hamas of people who are suspect of being informants.

Ahmad, it's transparency in the Gaza Strip right now, but do you have a sense that it's constant contact between Hamas and the IDF?

Or is the Hamas underground now and no longer launching operations?

So, I mean, I think the contact is between Hamas or what is left of it in Gaza and its external leadership based in Doha.

And that's how the negotiations are happening.

That's why the negotiations are happening in Doha.

It's because the Hamas leadership is coordinating with the Egyptians and with the Qataris to negotiate,

to mediate between them and Israel.

And so, again, we've seen reports that President Trump is signaling that Prime Minister

Netanyahu will be in Washington, D.C. to discuss a future ceasefire deal that will end the war in Gaza.

So it won't be a temporary solution like the previous ones, but it will be one that ends the war fully.

And there's also been signaling that this idea of destroying Hamas as a military power is no longer a war objective.

I don't know how true that is.

But it seems like Israel is willing to find a deal that brings back all the hostages, all

50 of them, dead and alive in the next round of negotiations.
