If you are listening to this in sequence as we've started a new year and as I record this,

you have entered the third week of this year and it's at about day 21 or three weeks

into setting goals or pursuing something that you want to enhance your life. Maybe for you that's exercising

more or maybe you want to eat better, maybe you want to improve your relationships. Whatever

it might be, it's about at that third week mark when people begin to give up on your

big goals and aspirations. Now, I know many of you do not set New Year's resolutions, and if you

have been following along with this series in sequence as you ended the year you were guided in a

new year's eve release meditation and also a new year's day meditation and new year's series

where you selected a word to represent your year.

And I'd like to invite you to reflect on that word for a moment.

Because it often reveals your inner compass.

Now, your inner compass is also referred to as your true north, these qualities and hopes and aspirations that represent the best part of who you are. And the way to fuel your goals and ambitions

at this third week, this week when most people around the

world are starting to fall away from their hopes and aspirations for the year, you fuel your

ambitions with your emotions. You get behind your goals with your will, your emotional state,

and without feeling passionate about what you're doing and excited, it's really easy to be sidetracked or to feel as though, oh, I guess I

don't really need to pursue this and maybe things were fine just the way they were.
