And when we get started, we're starting a new book this evening,

St. Paul's Epistle to the Colossians.

And so this will mostly be introduction tonight yeah we're recording so don't talk

unless you want the world to hear you so um so um this epistle is, again, a little different.

I don't know if I should keep saying this one's a little different.

I mean, we're getting to the point where it's just they're all different.

Right.

But, yeah.

But this epistle, say Paul's epistle to the Colossians is a little bit similar to

Philippians in terms of the city it's addressed to that we'll talk about a little more in a minute.

In terms of the text, the text is actually very similar in places to St. Paul's epistle to the

Ephesians. And so because, as I want to say, you know, dissertations have to be written,

journal articles have to be published.

There's all manner of literature about the relationship between St. Paul's epistle to the,

the Ephesians and his epistle to the Colossians and how they're related to each other

and what that means and all of those things.

There's also, I should say, I think we've already read the reference where there's an epistle to the Laodiceans that St. Paul mentions having written that we don't have.
