So I am married to Jeremiah. We have been married for 16 years. We are high school sweethearts,

actually. I like to say I stuck my claws in at 15. I saw potential. I hung on tight. And we have

two girls, Julia and Vanessa. They are eight and nine now and going into third and fourth grade. We are actually a family of five, including our elderly chihuahua, which we 100% do count him. He's kind of our homeschool mascot, an ever-present cranky old man, and we love him.

We are originally from Wisconsin, but moved here to the desert in 2009, actually.

So we are in a suburb of Phoenix, Arizona, which means, you know, this time of year, we are

regretting our decision, wishing we had made better life choices.
