Summary

0:00.0	Senior year I was on top of the world. I had a great group of friends, teachers.
0:08.8	The class of 1999 was really close. It was the perfect year. So my world just felt
0:16.9	safe. It was a typical Tuesday. It was a beautiful day outside. After science
0:27.4	class I went down to the cafeteria with all my friends and we were about to grab
0:33.5	lunch and I started hearing some popping sounds. I hide under a table and I can't
0:42.6	breathe. I just remember not being able to breathe. Oh my gosh am I gonna die.
0:47.5	Are we gonna die? The sounds start getting louder and they're screaming. It's
0:52.9	utter chaos. I was just terrified that they were gonna come through that door.
1:01.6	My name is Amy Overt. I am a survivor of the Columbine High School Mass
1:07.1	Card. This is my story. This is confronting Columbine.
1:15.8	After 21 years there are demons I want to confront. People I want to talk to. I
1:22.0	want to talk to law enforcement about how they dropped the ball. I want to ask
1:26.4	them what the hell happened. I've got these 60 kids that were still alive and it
1:31.0	was about that time when we were hearing that there's a sign in the window of
1:34.1	one bleeding to death. So I made a choice. Did I do the right thing? I don't know.
1:39.2	I want to hear from other survivors about their trauma. That's when I took three
1:44.7	across the abdomen. The only way to describe that, to felt like something
1:49.2	shouldn't have been there, wasn't pain or anything. I want to find out if the
1:54.7	rumored hit list ever really existed and if I was on it. They both had several
2:00.1	hit list. There was more than one. I want to share the stories of other mass
2:05.0	shooting survivors. As we were walking out the police out there was saying look
2:09.6	to the left and then I look to the right. There was two bodies on the ground. I
