Today we're going to talk about some of the struggles we've had using tumble composters.

I know that I've had some in the past.

I know that Jared's had some.

He's back again on the podcast. and I actually did a video about this a

while ago video and an article on the website about what happens if you have

maggots in your compost and the conclusion that we drew or that I drew was that usually that's a

black soldier fly larva usually it's not a big deal but it is a little unsightly

and you know while they do decompose the material in let's say a tumbler a little quicker

it's not as pleasant of an experience and it's a little

frustrating to deal with sometimes and so i'm gonna let jard come in talk about

some of the struggles he had using a tumble

composter and then what his solution ended up being.

And surprise surprise, it is a low effort, high reward solution.
