I'm a former Intelligence Officer with the Bureau of Intelligence and Research at the State Department

and also with the CIA, all of that time on the analytics side.

I'm presently the Director of the Master of Arts and Global Security Studies for

Johns Hopkins Universities, Krieger School of Arts and Sciences,

advanced academic programs in Washington,

and in my research life I'm an intelligence historian.
