In a recent interview, Donald Trump said he was quote unquote looking at restrictions on contraception,

and he promised a concrete policy on this very soon.

But then he subsequently walked that back. Apparently, his campaign knew that taking away people's birth control would be politically toxic in swing states and got him to

quickly reconsider. But certain constituencies on the right have not given up in this regard. Far from it.

Politico's Alice Miranda Olstein has a new piece reporting that some of Trump's

allies are looking at ways Trump can restrict access to contraception through executive actions

if he wins the White House. We think this issue could play a sleeper role in this campaign in numerous

ways. So we invited Olstein on the show to talk about these plans,

what they might look like, how successful they might be, and how far the right might get in
