Today we're delving back into our tarodex, which we have often done together on this podcast.

This time we'll be dealing with four essential tarot archetypes and how we can work with them,

what they mean, and how we can achieve greater healing and awareness by activating the

energies of these archetypes and examining where and how they function in our own lives.

So we're going to be running through a number of cards here, both from the major and the minor

arcana. And I do recommend that if possible, you have a writer-weight-smith tarot deck with you

to follow along and to look at the cards that we're going to be talking about.

So we're going to examine these four tarot archetypes, which are in this order.

First, we've got the mother. Second, we've got the father.

Third, the shadow self, which we might also call the ego in some cases, as we'll see when we

delve into that. And finally, the divine self, or what we might also call the soul. So this episode today is part

one of this two-part series. So we'll be dealing with the mother and the father and I invite you

to follow along with the next episode which is going to be part two and there we're going to address

the shadow self and the divine self.
