episode of Inner Work. Today Today we're diving into a topic

that we've sort of touched upon in the past on this podcast, but I believe I called it

abundance at the time or maybe it was just a couple of episodes on the art and skill of manifestation.

This time I want to talk with you about prosperity, which is in

many ways a synonym for abundance, but then it also has some other meanings and definitions

that we're going to explore together today. And as always, we do begin with a clear definition

or as clear a definition as we can get right now of this term prosperity.

What does it mean?

Of course, for many of us hearing the word prosperity evokes images of money, financial wealth, riches, having lots of savings in your bank account, the ability to use your money,

to do whatever you want, whenever you want to do it, which is one of the definitions of

freedom, the ability to go on vacations, to get that new car, and so on. Really, this definition

of prosperity based on material well-being.

And let's not get cynical about the importance of a material well-being on this material plane.

After all, your soul has incarnated into physical form in order to experience a material universe, which is where you are right now. For some souls, this means at

some point in your life you will experience scarcity or lack or material poverty. Why? Because there
