Hello, dear listeners, and welcome to a new episode of Inner Work.

This episode is a continuation of my two-part series on four essential

tarototypes. In the previous episode, which was number 51, we explored the primordial,

masculine, and feminine energies of the tarot deck through the archetypes of the mother and the father.

We looked at a number of cards,

including the high priestess, the hierophant, the emperor, the empress. So I do invite you to go back

and listen to that episode if that interests you. And today we continue this journey by delving

into two new archetypes, the shadow self and the divine self.

We begin with the shadow self, of course, moving from darkness into light, as we often do in our individual healing journeys.

We begin at a place of maybe discord, disharmony, confusion, chaos,

maybe even discomfort or suffering. And we do the necessary work to transmute all of these things

into healing, into courage, compassion, empathy, self-acceptance, and ultimately unconditional love, right? So that is the work,

that is the journey. But we begin by plunging into the depths of some of the cards in the

tarot deck that represent this shadow self, which is actually not a singular aspect within

yourself, but rather a collection of sub-personalities
