Welcome into the lounge presented by Draft Kings.

I'm Ryan Mink here with Garrett Downing.

0:08.6

And we are going to break down where the Ravens stand following their loss in Kansas City.

0:14.2

And what they need to do to kind of turn things around,

0:17.2

especially given all the injuries that they have right now.

0:20.8

So Garrett, a couple days removed from

0:23.2

that loss to the Chiefs. How are you feeling? I think I feel better now than I did, certainly after

0:28.5

that game. And John Harleball made the point during his press conference on Monday that he felt a lot

0:32.9

better after watching the tape. And I think that, like, this isn't just lip service. I think there's,

0:37.6

there's justification and reasons to feel that way. And when you really go back through that game

0:42.7

against Kansas City, like the Ravens, as we know, opened the game, marched right down the

0:47.3

field and scored touchdown. Then the offense on the next four possessions, really, they sputtered

0:55.5

1:00.0

that Lamar threw. On the other, basically the delay of game penalties set them back and put them

1:05.1

in bad position. On another, it was a deflected pass on a screen that looked like it was set up to

1:10.7

really go the distance to Derek Henry. He had a convoy pass on a screen that looked like it was set up to really go the distance to Derek Henry.

1:12.8

He had a convoy in front of him that looked like that was going to be a big play.

1:15.9

And Chris Jones just barely deflected that ball.

1:19.5

And so my point is just there's when you go back through and you look at it, like the game ends up being a blowout.

1:27.3

But you go drive by drive, the Ravens were obviously very much in that game in the first half. And I think it could have gone a lot differently, had a couple of those plays gone the other way. Then at that point, injuries sink in. The chiefs are off to the races. Lamar Jackson is out of the game in the fourth quarter. It was done.

2:01.5

The thing was over and it was runaway at that point. But when you really look at it kind of play by play and drive by drive, I do think it gives you a little bit more optimism moving forward. Yeah, I would agree with that. I thought that, you know, the defense has struggled. There's no way around that. You know, I mean,
