All right infant baptism the question we've got today is, is infant baptism actually in the Bible?

Does the Bible tell us whether or not we should baptize infants and we're going to go through all those

passages that

talk about something related to this or in some way bear on this issue today.

So track with me here. I'm going to give you the whole format on exactly what we're

going to cover in this video so it's kind of like five points in order so here they are

Number one we're going to go through who did get baptized and under what conditions or who was baptism for in the new testament specifically looking at passages.

Then we're going to, for number two, we're going to look at household baptisms.

That is passages in the scripture that talk about whole households being baptized and the question we have is

does this give us a case for infant baptism then we'll look at probably one of

the stronger cases for infant baptism there is which is the case

or I should maybe I should say I say stronger it's like you know prominent well

respected teachers I respect put forward this case the idea is that baptism is kind of parallel to

circumcision in some ways and since circumcision is for infants, baptism should be

for infants too. So we'll look at that for number three, number four, We'll just look at some other verses people use that are kind of uncategorized, but they weigh in and they definitely are important to talk about.

And then five, I'll give you a brief word on church history and some people try to win this whole argument with just

church history and I'm going to give a brief word kind of a warning against that sort of reasoning.

And then we'll go to your guys questions with whatever time we have left in the Q&A. So it's kind of like a big thing
