And this week, Marianne will be speaking with Altamush Saeed, who is currently studying in the LLM program at Lewis and Clark Law School, but is actually

a lawyer based in Pakistan, and among other roles, is the co-founder of Charity Doings Foundation,

an incredible nonprofit that aims to save all life, be it human, animal, or the environment

in Pakistan. He is going to fill us in

on the situation for animals in Pakistan, particularly in light of the recent devastating floods.

Wow, that's intense. Yeah, I'm really glad we were able to get him and relatively put this together

relatively quickly because I really wanted

to talk about what's going on with those floods and just it's just such a horrifying situation.

And sadly, something of an indication of what's to come with climate and the fact that they're thinking about the animals as

well as the people I think is very powerful. Absolutely. Well, thank you for doing this important

interview and I'm really looking forward to hearing it. I'm also so happy that you're back. So

welcome back. You just had a knee replacement surgery and you were not here last week.

So I just want to see how you're doing.

How are you feeling?

I am feeling better.

And I was just in shock that I missed last week's episode and I missed a couple of things of rising

anxieties. I did not think I was going to miss anything. I was so naive about a because it's

not a huge big deal. It's kind of a major surgery, but it's on your leg, not on your stomach

...
