Whenever my fiance and I go on vacations, we like to go on ghost walks.

Most cities have them if you know where to look.

A tour guide drags you around, tells you the haunted history of the city,

and tries to freak you out. They tell you to take pictures and feel the energy.

Generally they're pretty cheesy. We like it for a laugh. It's something fun to do.

Boston, Salem, Savannah, Texas, New York. Seriously, we've been all over the

U.S. and it never gets old. Recently we went to Key West. Key West has a huge haunted history and a lot of tours.

So of course we picked one. The tour started out pretty generic. Our tour guide was a girl in her 20s with old-timey makeup on. She

showed us the hot spots, a graveyard walk, a haunted bar, the Robert the Doll

House. My fiance and I laughed the whole time.

The last stop, the Pirate Museum.

Before we stopped, we were already making jokes. Then we got in the museum.

I felt sick almost immediately.

My stomach started to roll.

I decided to not think of it.

The guide started a speech about some people dying there. Strange things happening.

She was halfway through her story when I felt my head start to pound.

I grabbed my fiance's arm because I thought I was going to puke in front of about 20 people.

She looked at me weird and asked if I was okay, but I couldn't get any words out.

I felt like I was choking, like the air was gone from my lungs. I nodded at her though and motioned I was okay.

I didn't want to seem stupid. The guy took us to a different room.
