Hello and

Podsave the Queen. I'm your host so we foresee but unfortunately I haven't been able to track down our

Russell Myers because as we mentioned last week he's in Canada with Prince Charles

and Camilla.

We had hoped to fit him in for a recording, however the jam-pack schedule,

which has absolutely no gaps in, just hasn't allowed it unfortunately.

So what we've got for you instead is a special episode

with Royal writer and photographer Ian Lloyd who joined me to discuss his new book

which takes a look at the Queen's 70 year reign to celebrate her Platinum Jubilee and

I will be back as normal next week

with a bumper episode talking about the Jubilee horse show,

the Return of Garden Parties,

and of course all the news from Canada.

And while I've got you you I just wanted to say a

massive thank you to everyone who has sent in their favorite memories of the Queen

for our Jubilee coverage. I absolutely love listening to them all so far and

it's not too late if you want to be involved.
